Production services: your crew on the ground, anywhere

Production Services work

About this work

Plenty of our work is someone else's production. A production company or agency lands a spot that shoots somewhere they don't have a bench, and they need a partner who already knows the crews, the locations, the permits and the people. That is production services, and we do it without ego: your director, your creative, your client relationship; our producers on the shoot, our casting, our logistics. We produce on set alongside you and cast the same production in-house, so one call covers both. We've done it for a national production company on a state lottery holiday spot, a life-insurance spot and a bank campaign; for an agency on a hospital system's brand campaign; for another on a boot brand and a state tourism campaign; and for a production company on a U.S. Air Force shoot in California. Real-people casting comes with it, which is usually the reason we get the call.

Questions

What do you handle as a production services partner?
Producing on the shoot, crew, locations, permits, casting and talent, equipment, logistics, scheduling and budgets on the ground, pre-production through wrap. Post is available but optional.
Can you produce and cast the same production?
Yes, and it's the usual arrangement: our producer runs the ground game while our casting team fills the roles, real people included.
Do you take creative or client credit?
No. Your director, your agency, your client. We're credited as production services.
Where?
Nationwide. Columbus, Ohio is home, and we've run services in California, Nebraska and across the Midwest; recent shoots in New York, Miami, Atlanta and Los Angeles.
How fast can you staff a shoot?
We carry a standing bench of crew and vendors across the country and staff to the shoot date, not the other way around.
Can you handle casting only?
Yes. Two of the campaigns above were casting-only engagements.
